I write to express my unqualified recommendation of Stephanie Dawson as a REALTOR®. Stephanie recently represented my wife and me in the sale of our Kent, Washington home and the purchase of our new home in Issaquah, Washington. We found Stephanie to be professional, conscientious, and motivated.
Prior to our most recent sale, we had purchased and sold several houses in the past ten years. During these prior transactions, we were never completely satisfied with our brokers. Thus, for our most recent transactions, we spent considerable time researching brokers. When we located Stephanie on the Internet, we were impressed by her credentials and the energy and enthusiasm that is conveyed in her website, Facebook page, and weblog. When we met Stephanie, we found her to be friendly, extremely organized and diligent. We hired Stephanie with high expectations and she met and exceeded them.
We sold our home in a very difficult buyer’s market. Stephanie enthusiastically accepted the challenge and then, after conducting a detailed analysis, provided us with a comprehensive strategy for obtaining our asking price. Her recommendations were objective and informed and they were provided without pressure. She marketed the home by embracing and utilizing modern technology while simultaneously exerting the effort necessary to sell a home in the current market by holding numerous open houses, preparing high quality brochures, providing advice for preparing the home to sell, and, among other things, producing a high-quality video of the home. She utilized Facebook, MLS.com, the John L. Scott website, and a myriad of other Websites to create a buzz about the sale of our home. Needless to say, her efforts were successful.
In buying our home, we were quite selective. We had numerous criteria and, because we were buying a much larger home that we planned to stay in for many years, we were willing to look and look until we found that perfect home. Stephanie managed our search with great patience. She continually rode along with us and our two young children (and sometimes with our two dogs, too) as we looked at house after house. Each time, she arrived having already set up a detailed map and schedule to maximize efficiency and she was knowledgeable of each house and neighborhood that we visited. Stephanie remained undeterred and enthusiastic throughout this long process. When we finally found the home that we loved, she conducted an extensive evaluation and provided us with a detailed report of the home, the neighborhood and the home value/pricing. Armed with these tools, she negotiated the purchase price and finalized the purchase of our new home. Stephanie was responsive, organized, patient, detailed, and knowledgeable throughout this process. She was also enjoyable to be around.
